The city has an annual tender for the rehabilitation of sewer and water mains which specifies trenchless technology. This tender concentrates on the rehabilitation of the smaller diameter pipes. There are several contractors who tender for the annual contract, who are actively involved with pipe rehabilitation using trenchless technology.
